Summer Lunches at Hilltown and Frisco

Stonebriar Community Church Summer Lunch Program

Kick-off is May 31 with opportunities through the end of August. More information coming soon!

This summer, Stonebriar Community Church will partner with Christian Community Action and Frisco Family Services to provide lunch to under-resourced kids. We will prepare, pack and deliver 1,000+ lunches every week…all summer long!

Summer is a difficult time for many families. During the school year, breakfast and lunch are provided for children at their schools, but when the school year is over, families struggle to provide the additional meals on an already tight budget. The Summer Lunch Program was created to ensure that low-income children could continue to receive nutritious meals during the long summer break.

How You Can Help

We will need people to help prepare, pack, deliver, and serve these lunches. This is a great opportunity for families and groups to serve together. Children as young as 5 are welcome to participate in the packing of the lunches but must be 16 years or older to prepare meals.

Background Check

A background check is required for all volunteers 18 and older.
