Make a Card for a Neighbor in Need

Here is a fun way your family can bring some encouragement to our homeless neighbors—If you’re healthy and you know it, make a card! We would love to be able to include some words of encouragement along with the meals we are providing for the homeless. So grab your pens, markers, or crayons, and let’s make some cheerful cards and notes! As long as your household has been healthy, take some time and write a note of encouragement, a prayer, a favorite Scripture, and of course kids’ artwork always brings a smile.

You may drop your creations off at the outdoor collection box at the Building B covered drive (normally, the drop off for library books 😊). We will be sure your cards get to our neighbors in need.

This is a great opportunity for families to serve together. And, as you are drawing and writing, remember…God already knows the very person who is going to receive that note. He knows everything about them and is taking care of them just as He is watching over each of us.
