Why We Provide Summer Lunches

Just 10 miles from our church, on the outskirts of Little Elm, there’s a community called Hilltown where families struggle to make ends-meet—especially during the summer break, when kids no longer receive free school lunches.

To provide help and hope for our neighbors in Hilltown, we supply nutritious meals for kids five days a week, all summer long. These lunches help to prevent hunger and show our neighbors that God loves them and they are not forgotten.

How You Can Help

PACK lunches with us on Sundays (4:30 p.m.) or Tuesdays (2:30 p.m.). This is a great opportunity for families and groups (ages 6+ with an adult) to serve together, too.

• Only include one person per slot so that we are able to manage the number of volunteers per shift.
• Only sign up to volunteer once per week so that everyone who wants to volunteer has a chance to serve.
