Christmas in November - Operation Christmas Child Bags

Every Christmas, our church collects shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child to ship to kids in need all over the world. This year, we want to add a handmade bag, made with love and prayers, to every box packed by Stonebriar families. What a joy it will be to learn a new skill, create a gift that will keep on giving, help share the Gospel, and give to those who have very little.

We want you to help us make these special bags, so sign up to sew with us on Saturday, November 10. No experience is needed. We will supply the sewing machines, seasoned seamstresses, supplies to make one bag per registered family, and a light snack.

You are welcome to make multiple bags, should you chose to do so. You will need to bring 1/2 yard of duck material per extra bag you would like to make.

If you are unable to attend the event and would like to participate by making a bag or bags on your own, the pattern will be available online. Check back here soon to see the pattern.

This event is open to ages 10 and up. Registration is $10 per family (up to 4 people), which offsets the cost of postage for OCC boxes. If you have any questions, please contact Heather at yes@stonebriar.org.
