Help care for our community this Thanksgiving. Our church family is coming together again this holiday to provide food for more than 400 families. We will start by giving 100 Thanksgiving boxes to Frisco Family Services Center. The goal at Frisco Family Services Center is to provide low-income families, families in crisis, and senior citizens with a special Thanksgiving meal package. The traditional foods that makes the holiday special are typically not available from the food pantry. The meal baskets include items such as a turkey and all the trimmings, as well as items for breakfast and lunches. 

Since the majority of these families have children who are on the free breakfast and lunch program at school, this helps ease the strain on their already tight budget during the holiday week. In addition to those boxes, we will also be packing grocery bags to help 300+ families in need throughout our surrounding community.

Together we will provide more than 9,000 items needed for these boxes and bags. What a beautiful picture of the body of Christ coming together! One person can offer up something as simple as a can of green beans or a jar of coffee, and when we come together, we can provide for more than 400 families. Thanks for helping care for our community by serving these families in need.
